WordPress Hosting Survey

Often times clients and others ask us about what hosting service we recommend. This is an important question and one often asked during a website redesign or after a seismic event has happened with a client’s hosting company. While there are several good vendors in the marketplace we generally don’t make any recommendations because the level and quality service seem to vary amongst providers and even with the same provider over time. However, I always like to drive client value and provide some resources and direction should they care to conduct additional research. To the end, I recently came across a 2016 WordPress Hosting Survey conducted by CodeinWp a developer’s blog. The survey was taken of 500 WordPress users and 80% of the respondents identified themselves as pro’s meaning they are more than just casual users. Many of those included in the survey work with websites for a living including coders and programmers. To provide clients and others with an answer to their question we have provided access to a infographic below (and link to the survey above), which will significant insight.
